Heartland Equine Experiences
Healing Horses & Humans
Heartland Equine Experiences exists to help and serve others (horses and humans) to have a more peaceful and fulfilling life. This mission is achieved through service provision of life coaching, equine experiential learning, storytelling (books and public speaking) and heart circle for humans.
For horses, this achieved through equine body work and equine essential oils which are based on understanding each horse’s needs to support their physical, mental, energetic and emotional wellbeing.

Megan Owens, Cowaramup Australia Megan Owens, Cowaramup Australia At an Essential Oils workshop in Bridgetown participants Jaq and Candice Dahlstrom permitted an Equine Raindrop Technique (ERT) to be performed on their horse Copper. Candice gave a brief history of Copper’s history which included neglect and starvation. Copper clearly enjoyed the session, relaxing into the process and demonstrating release signals such as chewing, licking, dropping his head and stretching. Candice provided the following updates two weeks after the workshop…. Copper is doing amazing since his ERT! I am riding him now at trials and he is full of energy like a keg of dynamite! He feels much better and is no longer dragging his hind leg. He no longer twinges with my constant getting on and off for each race. Copper is definitely more alive since the Equine Raindrop. And he isn't doing his bolting trick so that is amazing and great. Elizabeth’s holistic approach for body mind and spirit and with her intuitive, wise and knowledgeable way has guided me to start my own business. I am most grateful to Elizabeth for helping me to build my resilience by never judging my ideas or thoughts only by being encouraging to turn my frightening thought of having a business into one that is now reality and I am passionate about and truly proud of. After I sent the first update, Copper just wanted to run so I had him doing lots of dressage moves in the middle of the track. We were doing canter 2 time changes, leg yielding at canter and trot, extended trot and canter and not once did he drag his hind like he used to - he was actually using his back end!!

Elizabeth is able to hold the space allowing ‘magic’ to happen and in so doing help facilitate my
journey forward in confidence and courage. Her insight is given in a very timely manner which
prompts you to truly listen to the beat of your own heart with the horses also reflecting this,
sometimes in the most profound way. Thank you Elizabeth and your herd.

However when Lilly, a grey mare rescued from Earaheedy Station came into the round yard, I knew she was the horse for me. I entered the round yard for my interaction with her and experienced a great sense of stillness as we came into the centre of the yard and simply stood and breathed together. Then I felt an unexpected sense of anxiety. Lilly walked away from me at that moment so I practiced the grounding technique we had been taught and when I felt I had shifted my anxiety and returned to the present moment, I asked Lilly to walk with me a short way. She did so in unison with me, freely - it was a rich reminder to fully engage in all aspects of my life – even the anxiety.Life Coaching Testimonial
